Ekstensive Metal Works

Spoke to an employee named Matt here this morning regarding a business issue. He was very unprofessional, unhelpful, unwilling and rude. He didn't even answer my question, blew me off and got mad at me for nothing at all. Only because i asked a simple question and he didn't what to tell me yes or no. They need to learn how to talk to customers and people that they deal with on a daily basis with professionalism. Don't go here or spend your $ with these people. I don't know who they think that they are.. but, being nice to people is part of business and customer service. Go somewhere else like extreme or shark autobody shop. Don't do business with these unhelpful ungrateful unprofessional people here. Thank you !!

We live in Wylie and just passing through. I’ve been wanting to see Ekstensive shop for a while. We pulled in Saturday. Walked into the store and a gentleman came out to talk to us. We talked about the show some, he got me prices on a drop kit for my truck. We also got one of their cool Tshirts. Bill is a busy man and wasn’t there but my gf wanted to see his dog.

Bill and the crew at Ekstensive did a hell of a job on my chevy "RCSSB". They welded on the back half of a crew cab truck and built a custom triangulated 4 link with viking coilovers and put in a fuel cell. I'm super happy with the first stage of this build and I can't wait to get my hands on it and finish it up. Their work is an awesome start and foundation for what's to come. The truck rides awesome and I can't thank them enough. All things considered, it was done in timely manner also. I'm impressed.

Hands down the best suspension shop in the world. I have had two vehicles bagged by Ekstensive. The attention to detail and the overall ride quality is amazing. I sent them my 1969 Cadillac Coupe Deville and it road amazing stock because it's a Cadillac. When I got it back from Bill they kept the ride quality equal but now it sits on the ground. Turn around time was about six weeks after they told me two to three weeks but this is when the big Texas snow storm hit and slowed down everyone for over a week. I then sent them my 1985 C10. We kept the factory frame but everything else was completely redone on the suspension including Wilwood brakes and a new rear end. Turn around time was about a month. Bill called me to keep me updated and ask about doing some minor upgrades. I added a few last minute requests and he always came through, knocking them out quick. I've had the C10 now at other shops for engine and transmission work. These techs raved about the attention to detail and how it's the best work they've ever seen. I plan to send Ekstensive more jobs down the road. These two vehicles of mine ride amazing!!! Thanks Bill and team! Oh, prices: $9000 for the caddy bag job. C10 was more but so much more changed out. Other shops charge around $6500 but knowing it was done right and by the best is worth spending more.

I must say for such a reputable business, their customer service skills does not measure up to their talents in the profession itself. Perhaps being on television may have something to do with this lack of diligence. As a first time visitor to their facility, I was not impressed with the interaction. Any random visitor could turn into a major opportunity or multiple opportunities for their business which customer-facing interactions are extremely important. I hope they come to understand and work to improve this skill set. Apart from customer interaction, they are no doubt among the best in the world at their craft. Thanks.
